considering that a lot of the high end items cost so much because they have rare skins, making them available to everyone wouldn't neccessarily ruin the in game economy; but it would definitely change it
it would be basically like buying a weapon off ebay but Anet wouldn't care cause they were getting all the profits

Nope, sorry. Horrid idea. Skins are part of the content that sells a chapter and should be kept that way. If they start nickel and diming the customer base, they will be no better than Bethesda... trying to peddle litteral junk "mods" and utter trash for real money.
Doing this also lessens the value of each chapter as new skins would hold no value towards the purchase of such chapter.
A move like this would be one of turning GW into Maple Story.

Okay, I think we get the point. The idea is not well recieved. Now insults have been flaring left and right and I think this thread is on its way down.
